About Waterford Union High School: A Legacy of Excellence

Waterford Union High School (WUHS) is a premier public secondary institution serving the communities of Waterford, Rochester, and Tichigan in Southeast Wisconsin. Known for a rigorous academic curriculum and a winning athletic program, WUHS prepares students for success in a global economy.

Academic Distinction & Outcomes

  • College Readiness: Over 80% of our graduates transition directly to four-year universities, including the UW-System and Ivy League institutions.

  • Advanced Placement (AP): We offer 18 AP courses, with 88% of students scoring a 3 or higher on exams, consistently earning us a spot on the AP School Honor Roll.

  • Career & Technical Education (CTE): Our state-of-the-art labs provide hands-on experience in Engineering, Healthcare, and Agri-Science, supported by local youth apprenticeship partnerships.

The Wolverine Experience At WUHS, we believe in a holistic education. With over 50 clubs and WIAA-sanctioned sports, our students develop leadership and character outside the classroom. Our campus features a performing arts center and athletic facilities that serve as a hub for the Waterford community.
