Waterford Union High School exists to provide students the opportunities to acquire the
knowledge, skills and experiences to become successful and responsible adults.

Graduation Information

The commencement ceremony is scheduled as an outdoor event for Sunday June 13, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in Waterford Union High School Stadium. Please keep in mind that these plans are subject to change pending local health regulations and weather conditions. The district continues to work with local health officials and the Central Racine County Health Department planning a less-risk event celebrating the Class of 2021.

Pre-Graduation Details

● Wednesday, May 26: Mandatory graduation practice at 2:00 P.M. in the main gym. Please inform your employer of this practice so you have the time off. You will be required to make up the practice if you plan to participate in the ceremony because information covered in this practice is different from information in the second

practice. Practice is scheduled to end by no later than 3:30 P.M.

● Wednesday, May 26: Senior Awards Night at 7:00 P.M. in the high school auditorium. We encourage all seniors and their parents to attend. All awards and scholarships will be distributed this evening. If you have received a scholarship from an institution or foundation, please inform Nicole Duldulao at 262-534-3189 ext. 3400.

● Thursday, June 10: Senior Picnic at the tennis court pavilion after final exams: The picnic will be an outdoor tailgate cookout beginning at 10:00 A.M. with the administration grilling for you. It is FREE! Celebrate the end of finals and experience fun, games, music, brats, burgers and a dessert station. Pending health guidelines, this event may be offered in an altered format.

● Thursday, June 10: Mandatory graduation practice at 11:30 A.M. in the stadium. Please inform your employer of this practice so you have the time off. You will be required to makeup this practice if you plan to participate in the ceremony. Practice is scheduled to end by no later than 2:30 P.M.

● Friday, June 11: All obligations (financial, detentions, etc.) must be cleared by 11:00 A.M. A diploma will not be issued unless all obligations have been satisfied. Diplomas for graduates not participating in commencement will be available in the high school office beginning Monday, June 14, 2021, at 8:00 A.M.

Graduation Ceremony Details

● Sunday, June 13, 2021 Graduation Ceremony. Graduates meet in the designated location no later than 1:30 P.M. The ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 P.M.

● Each student will receive four (4) tickets for an outdoor ceremony and two (2) tickets for an indoor ceremony if it is warranted. Only people with a valid ticket will be allowed in the stadium or gym. Students will receive their tickets at the last practice on June 10.

● At this time, zero extra tickets are available so that we can maintain a less-risk capacity. However, the ceremony may be viewed via live streaming. A link will be posted and shared closer to the graduation ceremony.

● If it is your intention NOT to participate in the diploma issuing ceremony, parents must call Mrs. Sutherland in the main office (534-3189 ext. 3500) and convey those intentions.

Youth Sports Camps- Summer 2021

This form is for summer camp sign ups for girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, and boys and girl's soccer.

Dates/ages for the camps are as follows:

Boys Basketball camp is June 14-17 (4th-9th grade) - Register by June 1 for T-shirt

Incoming 7th - 9th Grade Boys Basketball Camp - $50 (8am-10am)

Incoming 4th - 6th Grade Boys Basketball Camp - $45 (10:30am-12pm)

Location- Waterford Union High School

Girls Volleyball camp is June 21-24 (4th-9th grade) - Register by June 4 for T-shirt
Grades 8, 9, and those with club experience will be from 8-10am, $55
Grades 4-7 will be from 10:15-12, $50
*Volleyball camp is proud to have low camper to staff ratios, daily skill instruction on passing, serving, setting, hitting, and strategy, an end of camp tournament, and theme days!

Girls Basketball camp is July 19-22 (4th-9th grade) - Register by July 2 for T-shirt
Participants will receive an email closer to the dates with exact times.

Girls and Boys Soccer camp is July 12-15 (K - 9th grade) - Register by June 28 for T-shirt

A Night Under the Stars: Prom 2021

Hall of Fame Dinner 

Save the date—it’s time to celebrate! On Sunday, May 23, the 2020 and 2021 Waterford Union High School Academic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held in the Plantation Banquet Hall at the Cotton Exchange in Waterford.  Because we were unable to host a gathering last year, this year we will be honoring our 2020 inductees LaVerne Lewis and the late Earl Steinke, as well as our 2021 Hall of Fame inductee Tom Roanhouse.

The celebration will begin with fellowship at 11:30 a.m., a dinner buffet at noon, and an induction program to follow. Dinner tickets are $16 per adult and can be purchased online at https://waterforduhs.revtrak.net.  The deadline for ordering dinner tickets is May 12, 2021.

Summer School

Waterford is excited to announce that it will once again be providing SUMMER SCHOOL classes to the WUHS students!  There are lots of different classes being offered during the Summer Program. The program will run from June 14th - July 29th (Monday-Thursday).

Please read it over and see if your son/daughter is interested in taking any classes! It's a great way to earn extra credits over the summer.
