About Mrs. Natalie Tolbert

I am honored and excited to enter my twentieth year teaching at Waterford Union High School. My experiences before and during my tenure at WHS have fostered my continued passion for education and shaped me as an individual.

I grew up in Mukwonago, and in 1998 received my Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.  In 2004, I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.

During my time at WHS, I have worked with students as a student council advisor, softball coach, and forensics coach in addition to teaching many courses.

I have experience in teaching English 9, Honors English 9, American Literature, Multicultural Literature, Composition, Honors Composition, Speech, and Advanced Communications.  Serving as an adjunct PIE professor for UW Whitewater, I also teach College Freshman English 101 and College Intro to Speech.

Outside of school, I spend time with my husband, fifteen-year-old daughter, and twelve-year-old son.  When I am not watching them compete in their sports, I enjoy photography and reading as well as spending time outdoors, exploring trails around the state and UP.
