Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc.

In keeping with the mission of the Horatio Alger Association, the scholarship programs provide financial assistance to students throughout the nation who have significant financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. Eligibility criteria include: high school graduation in spring/summer, demonstrated critical financial need, and United States citizenship. Early Childhood Education Degree Scholarships

Potentially hundreds or thousands of early childhood education degree scholarships. Some of these scholarships will be dedicated to ECE specifically; whereas, others will be dedicated to future teachers in general. Be sure to look at all scholarships for education majors no matter whether the scholarship is for college and university expenses, licensures, or for conferences. Scholarship and standard applications are now open for Camp Cardiac & Camp Neuro Chicago 2020!  Camp Cardiac & Camp Neuro, run by medical students in over 30 cities nationwide, are 1-week summer day camps for high school students interested in exploring careers in medicine.  

Semper Fidelis All-American Program

Proudly presented by the United States Marine Corps, the Semper Fidelis All-American Program recognized high school students who face life’s battles with the conviction and determination to succeed. To apply to this program you must be a high school junior who possesses a fighting spirit to improve the lives of others, and meet the basic requirements.  Please apply at


2020 Junior League of Racine

The Junior League of Racine is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for our annual scholarship program. Scholarship applications are judged by our community partners on volunteerism in the community and will not be based on financial need. Applicants must plan to attend a four-year accredited college or university and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better. Our scholarship application is available at and must be postmarked by March 31, 2020. 

Citizen’s Bank Scholarship

Citizens Bank is pleased to announce that it will be offering six $1,000 Warren E. Hansen, Sr. Memorial Scholarships to graduating high school seniors attending schools in the communities that the bank serves.  Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, perform community service, and intend to pursue a career in business and/or finance.  Deadline is April 8, 2020.  Please visit for application and requirements.

John Hetland Memorial Scholarship

 The Racine Police Association has created and will be awarding three $1,000 scholarships in the name of Racine Police Officer John D. Hetland, who was killed in the line of duty on June 17, 2019.  These scholarships will be based on the student’s participation in school and/or community activities, academic records, disciplinary record and a personal essay.  The completed application is due by Friday April 10, 2020.  Please visit HERE for application and requirements. 

The Alice Aber-Smith Scholarship Fund & the Earnest F. and Edna P. Aber Scholarship Fund

 For the academic year, 2020-21 awards from The Alice Aber-Smith Scholarship Fund and The Earnest F. and Edna P. Aber Scholarship Fund shall be made only for attendance at a college or university that is affiliated with, or governed by a Christian organization.  For more details and application, please visit HERE.  Deadline is April 15, 2020.  


AB Nicholas Scholarship Foundation

This year the Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation will offer scholarships to approximately 65 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates based on need, academic achievement and character.  The annual scholarships - $10,000 for four-year programs and $5,000 for two-year programs-are renewable for the length of the program.  You can find more information at our website,  Scholarship applications are available online only starting February 1 and must be submitted by April 30.

Criteria for applying for this scholarship:

  • Residents of Wisconsin
  • Public and private high school students
  • Basketball program participants in their senior year
  • Planning to attend a University of Wisconsin System School

Waterford Union High School Art Fund Scholarship

Selection process: Interested applicants will fill out the application form. The applications will be given to the Art Fund College Scholarship Committee. The committee will select 2 senior art students (at the discretion of the art department) that will be pursuing an art career to each receive a $500 scholarship. Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Art Scholarship
The Dream Pool Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that they will be awarding one $2500 scholarship, two $2000 scholarship, and three $1000 scholarship this year. The purpose of these scholarships is to assist individuals pursuing education in the visual arts.  Please for application and requirements. Deadline is April 20, 2020.  

Adobe Creativity Scholarship

Creativity Scholars use self-expression and creative problem solving as an opportunity to open minds, to innovate, and to inform the world around them. Our current scholars are pursuing their dreams to become journalists, industrial designers, filmmakers, animators, and educators. All of our current scholars share a commitment to leveraging creativity to inspire change in their communities. Apply here. Deadline is March 12.

Burlington Area Garden Club Scholarship
The Donna Kuzniar Memorial Scholarship is offered annually by the Burlington Area Garden Club.  Scholarships funds up to $1000 are available to part-time and full-time students in the Burlington, WI area planning to study plants or gardening in the following areas: agriculture, botany, floral design, horticulture, landscape architecture or design, soil science, conservation, or related fields.  Deadline for application is May 1, 2020.  Click here for application and requirements.

Wisconsin Towns Association 2020 Scholarship Program

Each year, in partnership with Rural Mutual Insurance Company and Scott Construction, the Wisconsin Towns Association offers seven $1,000 scholarships to students who are graduating from a Wisconsin public or private high school and will be attending a Wisconsin public or private college or university in the fall of that year. Applicants are required to write a 500-1000 word essay on a specific topic that relates to town government. Students can apply at Deadline is May 29, 2020.  


PB & J Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is focused on helping students whose test scores and GPAs might be the best, but have the drive to succeed.  Students can apply using this link . Deadline is May 31, 2020.
