Prom Updates

As a follow up to the March parent newsletter, the Waterford Union High School Prom will be taking place on June 11, 2021. This date was selected to reduce potential student quarantines that could impact final exams, AP testing, graduation, spring sports, and co-curricular events. We are continuing to communicate with our district nurse and the Central Racine County Health Department to ensure a less-risk event.

All juniors and seniors were invited to join the prom planning committee. We have been working with a group of the students who volunteered, and they have provided input on what they want from their prom experience. The theme for this year's prom will be “A Night Under the Stars.”

Here is the tentative list of events for the evening of June 11.

  • Grand march and acknowledgement of the court
  • Dance
  • Please note we will not have a post prom experience this year

We are excited to announce that we will have both a junior and senior court this year! Since our seniors missed out on their prom last year, we are excited to have both the class of 2021 and 2022 enjoy this night together. We thank you for your support and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact one of the staff members from the prom committee listed below.
