New Stained Glass Windows
Again this year, first semester art students from Ms. Sonja
Kipper's advanced stained glass class have created works of art
that will be permanently displayed at Waterford Union High School.
Armed with ideas provided by the library media staff, WHS seniors
Brittany Canfield, Susan Matheson, Mitchell Speth, Miranda
VanScoy, and Emma Wishau have been busy designing and constructing
two new stained glass window panels for the library media
center. Each panel measures 30" x 44" and depicts characters from
well-known literature. Also incorporated into the panels are
multicultural images which reflect the significant selection of
multicultural literature available to students and staff members in the
LMC.
